  • THE BLACK FEDORA

This collection of photographs is a heartfelt homage to the legendary Michael Jackson, a true icon in the world of music and entertainment. Through her lens, Smahane has captured the essence of Michael Jackson's persona by focusing on two of his most iconic accessories - the black fedora and the shiny white glove. These symbolic elements, which were synonymous with his electrifying performances and charismatic personality, have been used to create powerful and evocative images that speak to the depth of his character and legacy.

Shot in her own studio, Smahane's photographs showcase her creative vision and technical prowess, as she experiments with different compositions, lighting, and even incorporates herself into some of the shots. This personal touch adds an extra layer of connection to the exhibition.

This photography exhibition is not just a celebration of Michael Jackson's artistic contributions, but also a recognition of his humanitarian efforts and the way he touched the lives of people around the world. Through these images, Smahane invites us to reflect on the life of this extraordinary individual, his enduring influence, and the messages he shared through his music and actions.
